Threads of Us

In every city, every story, and every silent gesture, there are threads. Threads that tie us to each other. Threads that anchor us to a place, a memory, and meaning. Threads that stretch across time, from heritage to innovation, from the past we inherit to the future we imagine. "Threads of Us" invites us to explore the visible and invisible lines that weave together our identities, relationships, and communities. In a world that often highlights what sets us apart, this theme asks: What connects us? From ancestral knowledge to emerging technologies, from family rituals to global shifts, the TEDxAlBateen stage becomes a loom for ideas that bind, challenge, and inspire. Set in Al Bateen, one of Abu Dhabi's most storied coastal neighborhoods, this TEDx gathering honors the threads of tradition and transformation that define our city, and our shared human experience.
